Nato a Milano nel 1961 per promuovere le esportazioni italiane dell'industria dell'arredo e dei suoi complementi, il Salone Internazionale del Mobile è una vera e propria meta “Santa” per professionisti del mondo del design (di interni e prodotto) e di architettura.
Tanto attesa da tutti durante la design week (tenuta dal 6 al 12 Giugno quest’anno) milanese, riunisce aspiranti designers e designers affermati di tutto il mondo.
Sicuramente un vero e proprio esempio di ECCELLENZA MADE IN ITALY che per 60 anni non ha mai smesso di mostrare la bellezza e lo stile italiano.
Da aspirante designer di interni sarebbe troppo scontato dirvi che ogni materiale, forma e pezzo d’arredo trasmetta emozioni e storia, che certe volte si lega anche alla nostra, ed è proprio questa l’esperienza del salone.. trasmettere emozioni, storia e arte a tutti coloro che vengono a visitare, mostrando attraverso una sedia, un tavolo, una poltrona e un salotto una storia ricca da raccontare.
Oltre al esperienza del Salone, c’è anche quella “fuori salone” che è un insieme di pop store, eventi e workshops di design degli interni e prodotto.
Quest’anno tra i tanti designers internazionali ci sono anche i miei preferiti: Daniel Arsham (product designer e artista statunitense) che quest’anno ha portato una fantastica opera : “Divided layers” situato durante la design week al Palazzo del Senato, un progetto maestoso e creativo che ha portato il designer a vincere il premio il “fuori salone”
Oltre a Daniel abbiamo anche : Titi Ogunfere (interior designer Nigeriana e CEO della design week di Lagos) che quest’anno ha portato magnifici pezzi di design africano dandoci un idea di quella che è la bellezza del design week di Lagos, un altra eccellenza nigeriana di quest’anno è Lani Adeoye (fondatrice di Studio Lani e designer) che vinse il premio “Salone sattelite 2022” con la Ekaabo collection mostrando l’ospitalità nigeriana in particolare Youruba.
Molti sono i brand e pop stores di design che hanno riempito le strade di Milano in particolare la zona di Brera, fulcro molto importante della design week che ha riunito esperti e amanti di design di tutto il mondo.
Che dire.. 60 anni di design, storia, arte e made in Italy, che quest’anno hanno mostrato anche l’eccellenza di altri paesi, dandoci una piccola sbirciatina sulla bellezza degli altri paesi

As an aspiring interior designer, it would be too obvious to tell you that every material, shape and piece of furniture transmits emotions and history, which sometimes is also linked to ours, and this is precisely the experience of the salon .. transmitting emotions, history and art to all those who come to visit, showing through a chair, a table, an armchair and a living room a rich story to tell.
In addition to the experience of the Salone, there is also the "off-salon" experience which is a set of pop stores, events and interior and product design workshops.
This year among the many international designers there are also my favorites: Daniel Arsham (American product designer and artist) who this year brought a fantastic work: "Divided layers" located during the design week at the Palazzo del Senato, a project majestic and creative that led the designer to win the "Fuori Salone" award
In addition to Daniel we also have: Titi Ogunfere (Nigerian interior designer and CEO of Lagos design week) who this year brought magnificent pieces of African design giving us an idea of what is the beauty of Lagos design week, another Nigerian excellence this year it is Lani Adeoye (founder of Studio Lani and designer) who won the “Salone sattelite 2022” award with the Ekaabo collection showing Nigerian hospitality in particular Youruba.

Zusätzlich zum Salone-Erlebnis gibt es auch das „Off-Salon“-Erlebnis, bei dem es sich um eine Reihe von Pop-Läden, Veranstaltungen sowie Innen- und Produktdesign-Workshops handelt.
Unter den vielen internationalen Designern gibt es dieses Jahr auch meine Favoriten: Daniel Arsham (amerikanischer Produktdesigner und Künstler), der dieses Jahr eine fantastische Arbeit mitgebracht hat: „Divided Layers“ während der Design Week im Palazzo del Senato, ein majestätisches und kreatives Projekt das führte dazu, dass der Designer den „Fuori Salone“-Preis gewann
Neben Daniel haben wir auch: Titi Ogunfere (nigerianische Innenarchitektin und CEO der Lagos Design Week), die dieses Jahr großartige Stücke afrikanischen Designs mitgebracht hat, die uns eine Vorstellung davon geben, was die Schönheit der Lagos Design Week ist, eine weitere nigerianische Exzellenz Jahr ist es Lani Adeoye (Gründerin von Studio Lani und Designerin), die mit der Ekaabo-Kollektion, die die nigerianische Gastfreundschaft, insbesondere Youruba, zeigt, den Preis „Salone satlite 2022“ gewann.
